Church Profile
The Church is built on a site, ownership of which was the subject of a great struggle between a firm of brewers and the Temperance Movement at the turn of the 20th century.
We are a family church, with a thriving Junior church. Our morning Services are recorded on audio cassette. If you are unable to come to a Service, we are very happy to make these recordings available to you on request. We also have a prayer chain.
Our Church has seen many changes during its history. Having celebrated our centenary in 2007, we look forward to continuing to grow in strength.
Church Services
Sunday Service: Every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. Holy Communion is celebrated regularly.
Family Service: On the third Sunday of each month at 10.30 am we have a Family Service when the children and young people join us for the whole service.
Sunday Evening Services: We have evening services on a fortnightly basis and these start at 6.00 p.m.
Weekday Programme
Christchurch has a varied programme of activities to suit all tastes and ages. In addition to our regular activities, we also hold special events, such as our renowned annual Festival of Flowers and we also take an active part in community events, like the Bexhill Carnival.
