Church Profile
We have about 35 members, mainly senior citizens. Our average attendance is around 25.
The Hastings Schools Christian Trust have an office in the building for the workers who go into schools to run assemblies, after school groups, etc.
Church Services
Services are held every Sunday at 10.15am. We start with 15 minutes Worship songs followed by the service. Coffee is served afterwards, unless we have a Cafe Service.
Other Services are held as follows:
- 1st Sunday of each month: A United Service with St. John's Anglican Church. This is hosted alternately at each church as advertised. 6.30pm in Summer, 4.00pm November to March. The host Church leads our worship and the visiting church provides the preacher for the sermon.
- 5th Sunday - if there is one: Churches Together United Service as arranged. This could be Roman Catholic, Methodist, Anglican or URC based.
Weekday Programme of Church & Community Activities
Fellowship Meeting
Each Thursday at 2.30pm between Sept - Dec and Feb - June. The meeting includes worship time, plus a variety of speakers, and there may also be bring & buy stalls, card sales and refreshments.
On the 1st Thursday of each month, at 12 noon (from 6th May) fellowship time, with Piano Recitals from 1-2pm. Bring your sandwiches, drinks provided. Donations for (at present) Church Improvement Funds.
Prayer Group & Bible Study
Prayer Group and Bible Study is held on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 2.30pm.
Lunch Club
Held at 12 noon on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Bookings required, ring Dawn on 01424 423071. Price £3.00.
Coffee Morning
A coffee morning, open to all, is held on the 2nd Saturday of each month between 10.00 - 11.30am.
Keep Fit Group
Keep Fit classes are held every Monday & Wednesday at 7.00pm.
Extend Exercise Group
The Extend Exercise Group, mainly over 60's, is held every Thursday at 10.15am.
Dog Training Group
Dog Training Group holds classes each Thursday at 7.30pm.
The Church Hall is available to let at other times by arrangement.
