Welcome to Our Circuit
Thank you for visiting our Circuit Website, I hope that you have found it to be a helpful introduction to the life of our churches, and some of the activities which take place here.
One of the wonders of our modern age is the speed and ease at which we can communicate with one another. The push of a 'send' button can wing an email on its way around the world, and you may be visiting this website, which focusses upon a small area of South-East England, from nearby, or from as far a way as it is possible to get without a rocket!
In a sense these things remind us of the smallness of our world, and the closeness of one person to another. A moment later, however, a glance at an on-line news service might remind us of the considerable distances that there are between people in terms of wealth, or quality of life.
Wherever you are, and in whatever circumstances you find yourself, our speedy means of communication offers a link with others throughout the world. We are also reminded that as part of a worldwide community, we share a sense of responsibility for God's creation...including humankind.
I offer this prayer, and if you wish to use it, I trust that you will find it helpful:
Almighty God, whose glory is beyond our knowing,
whose creation stretches into the furthest inches of space,
we offer you thanks and praise that you care even for us.
Help us to know your grace and your presence
in our hearts and souls and lives,
that in all our thinking and doing,
we may rest in the assurance of your love
shown in Christ Jesus.
