Meet our team of Ministers...
From left to right...
Rev. Stephen Maunder
Stephen joined the Circuit in September 2005, having previously served in the Gosport and Fareham Circuit.
Stephen is Superintendent Minister of the Circuit and responsible for the Methodist churches at Ninfield, Christchurch (Bexhill) and Little Common.
Rev. Malcolm Hope
Malcolm moved to the Hastings, Bexhill & Rye Circuit in September 2007.
He is the Minister with particular responsibility for the Methodist churches in Rye, Pett, Broad Oak Brede and the Calvert Memorial church in Hastings.
His previous appointments have been in Clydebank, East Anglia and Devon and have included school and hospital chaplaincies.
Rev. Marion Proud
Marion came to this circuit in 2006 along with her husband who is a minister in the Eastbourne new United Area. They were formerly in Holsworthy in Devon for five years, enjoying ministry in a very rural setting.
Marion enjoys being involved with three churches in this Circuit which are all very different from each other.
Rev. Peter Timms
Peter has recently taken up an appointment within the Circuit to provide pastoral oversight for Sackville Road Methodist Church in Bexhill-on-Sea.
Mrs Lesley Gilchrist
Lesley has served as a local preacher within the Circuit for a number of years. Having been appointed as pastoral worker for Hollington, she commenced her ministry in September 2008.
