We are a family church offering a warm welcome to all who come on to our premises. We meet for worship every Sunday at 10.30am and celebrate Holy Communion once a month. There is a weekly Prayer Chain as well as house and Bible study groups. Socially, we have the ‘Fun and Friendship’ club and ‘Ladies who Lunch’.

Our Christchurch Singers perform a concert for charity twice a year, and for over 30 years we have had an annual Festival of Flowers.

Our facilities are available for use for various events. Many are detailed on our church notice boards and we issue a monthly newsletter called ‘The Messenger’.

History

The church was built on a site, ownership of which was the subject of a great struggle between a firm of brewers and the Temperance Movement at the turn of the 20th century. The church opened in March 1907 with the main hall added in 1939.
